I do get discouraged as I wish I was popping off deals like it seems others do (and notice I said it seems-  it's a perception that I know is not reality - this business takes work and hustle) but I also know that it will all come in due time and experience.  

What's been your experience with buyers' perceptions.

Newbies and Gurus will always damage the perception of wholesaling of most investors but me and my buyers are doing great!

Alex the PERCEPTION is that mom and pop tenants think they are more valuable then they actually are.I do retail all day long but on the transaction side buying the centers with clients and then development myself.Tenant rep brokers is a very low income business.

Too early to say whether the licensing and legislation/reform that's slowly being introduced across the country will clean up the perception but currently this is how many in the industry (particularly the ones you want to build relationships with) view the RE wholesale industry. 

Therefore I am going to ask some stupid or, not well thought questions to educate myself from the ground up.So, is there a connection between the Christmas Holidays and my perception that there aren't very many Wholesale-able houses on the market here in Reno?  

Until we have intelligent systems that can evaluate perceptions, opinions and preferrences no system can compete.

Stuff like this ruins friendships when one's perception of their own worth exceeds what it really is.

We are mostly past the heat for this year and I hope to have this sold well before next summer, so any evidence I come up with will be largely based on perception..
