I think it's a good idea to take caution and keep cash reserve for rainy day (also gun powder dry to get cheap property in down turn). if your portfolio is sfh then you going to have a bit harder time.

And we sprayed Zep and painted with and oil based primer to Water was running down the inside of the laundry room wall, so when we pulled off the old plaster to see the extent of the damage, the vertical column in the corner was powder.  

To me, being financially free would to be able to work a more flexible schedule, be on the boat on days when I would typically be at work or on the mountain on mid-week powder days! 

I suggest, holding your powder for a investment that isn’t so risky or where you can get solid information.

However, nothing ruins the triumphant return to your newly updated home like realizing that everything you left behind is coated in a fine, pernicious powder.

There are five doorways into the kitchen- to the living room, to the dining room, to the basement stairs and driveway access, to the powder room and to the mudroom with backyard/deck access.
