The "fanatics" you reference are people who generally fall into one of three group.1- real estate "service" providers, such as real estate brokers, property brokers, etc. who have a vested interest in seeing a technique which usually eliminates the need for their services and hence "costs" then a commission banned.

And I'd acknowledge they're riding the line of what is and what is not acting as a real estate without a license (and doing net sales which are illegal for agents).I think the argument doesn't work because even if you banned wholesaling, people could still do simultaneously closings, which are just about the same, just a little more expensive.

There are some things going on you will want to be careful of, Daytona has banned STR in many areas and the Condos...special assessments for certain ages and styles after the Miami incident have made a lot of them unaffordable.

Add to that there is currently a ban on foreign buyers in Canada (only a few exceptions and as far as I know they all involve living here).Capital gains taxes apparently used to be higher (before my time).
