We actually started off wholesaling and doing BRRR’s out of state from California and then moved to Birmingham (20 min from Detroit) and than Darren my husband would drive to and from Detroit every day working 16hrs a day 365 days of the year for 1/2 a decade owning, building, managing section 8 tenants while I helped him on the other side of things and together we weeded through all sorts of risk over the years.
