Same with Drywall, I know what good drywalling takes from having done my own, and choose to hang it myself, but hire professionals to mud and tape and do the skim coat.

If it is metes and bounds (ie feet and inch measurements along with direction vectors), then you would measure it yourself either in person with a measuring tape, more sophisticated equipment like lasers, or just draw out the measurements approximately on paper or a computer and see approximately where things stand.

I simply taped one on the dryer vent pipe, and now I can download the data showing every dryer session via bluetooth into my phone where the app graphs it, or I can export it to a spreadsheet and graph it.
