@Cathy Cook I hear you on the analysis paralysis!

The long story short is the 8 unit has 8 gas meters for the units cooking, but the 9th meter is the house meter and fires and OLD furnace, I have all the utility bills including the bad winter months. 

And what will happen in cook county?

I cook meals at home, and we eat leftovers for lunch.

By removing the "cooking area" it was no longer a "dwelling unit".

That said, I agree prices in the C grade areas are up in Cook County, Illinois.  

I own properties in Kankakee, Will and southern Cook County.

I've appealed my own personal taxes on my residence (also Cook County, not the towns you mention, but County makes the decisions on all the towns you listed) and I've won the past 4 times on my appeals.
