Not saying it doesn't work but not my cup of tea.  

If you can't figure out how to park and walk to the courthouse after multiple attempts, I think real estate may not be not your cup of tea.

The bottom line is that I'll stay home and skip Cochran and Watson's Las Vegas weekend (Vegas has never been my cup of tea in any case) and I'll spend my money on my own marketing campaign. 

My day job is Marketing Director for an international tea company, but I'm looking to add an alternative revenue stream. 

That is not my cup of tea.

Then the numbers become irrelevant except when you are sipping ice tea in Scottsdale at a world famous resort pool during the winter months and you are comparing the two income streams.

Not most people's cup of tea, just as an example.Now, if you want a rehab in retail markets, you will not find that on the MLS.

Like adam mentioned coming from commercial real estate or other backgrounds notes may seem like a cup of tea since many in those backgrounds have dealt with real estate professionals and know what IRR is and how to run a financial model.
