Some people just play the game of waiting until the last possible day to come up with the money, so won't be interested in selling. 

Many of these real estate guru's play it off like funding is no big deal and you can easily get into your first deal with no money down.

Holding out might seem like the better play, but you could end up losing far more in the long run.
