Here's my take and I actually still sell cars which hasn't changed my mind on it (I haven't drank the cool-aid as someone had said in another post) I prefer to lease.

As an Academic Advisor who has worked in a community college and also in financial aid, there are ways for you to attend part-time (6 credits) and still receive Pell Grant (free money) to go to school.My advice would be to consider, in stead of dropping out, think about what courses you can take to further support your REI goals.

I see folks get guiled into these by their agents and then regret the purchase over the next year or so and leave the rental investment market never to return.  2. yes code enforcement is lax but not due to neglect on their part just due to being overwhelmed although some areas are over cited and others way under.3. while true often legal aid has made things much more difficult in the past several years.
