My name is Chase Busick, & I started investing in early 2014 while in the military, by aggressively increasing my savings rate (as I am a pretty minimal person) & sacrificing thousands of hours of my time, energy, & money in self education.

This is why I have never invested in a real estate fund, nor would I ever give money to someone who is looking for a deal.I have friends that invested in a pre-funded deal. 

Getting into a property with no reserves or access to money will likely lead to bad things.

One of the most important person on your team is your financial guy, I'm a real estate guy and I have zero interest in learning all the in's and out's of taxes, in fact I get super angry just hearing about how i'm wasting money to go into a bottomless pit of no where.

There is money to be made, it is a long game.  

Why spend money if its unnecessary?

I’m not bringing any money to the table. 

I would help them as much as I could BUT mainly they wanted their money back.

So many people want to put little to nothing into the deal that they miss the fact that they are paying interest on that money.
