You can still definitely cashflow on properties in Canada, however your cash-on-cash return often won't be as good as our American counterparts because you'll be getting less rental income in return compared to what you put down on the property.

I am going to say...all of you severely miss the point of what school really is about.What you are saying may be valid, but it depends on what you want to learn, and more importantly, where you want to apply that what you have learned.Sure you can always find a counterpart to everything.If you wanted to be a NASA robotics scientist.. let's say.

first of all let me say, there is NO one size fits all when it comes to loan programs. what makes sense for you may not make sense for someone else, so take my opinions here as exactly that - my opinion. i am personally not a fan of DPA. reasons being the rates are always higher than traditional counterparts, and they're not usually even gifting you any money.
