The other things it will need is fixing a section of the fence in the backyard, putting a railing up for the stairway to the basement and shampooing the berber carpets in the two bedrooms and hall.

There is common stairway access to the unit, and considering adding an egress window to make it compliant. 

The stairway also has matching carpet.I am considering replacing the carpet with LVP.

The single stairway also has to be continuous to the ground floor exit.

Is there a stairway in the property? 

They are a bit pricey but the adjustable ladders are a lifesaver sometimes, changing a bulb on a stairway, etc.

Is there a door at the top or bottom of the stairway that can be locked?
