Based on what I have seen, the SBA is offering loans to LLs but I would bet their focus will be retail and manufacturing businesses.

I work for a company that develops & manufactures performance suspension systems for Heavy Duty straight axle trucks.

Further more those of us who have engineering degrees and then went on to work in plants and manufacturing are even more prepared for REI as we have to work with and deal with 10 different kinds of people on a daily basis and are very good at taking emotion out of things. 

@Andrew GibeautToledo is an interesting town, with many blue collar and union jobs focused on the auto manufacturing industry and close ties to Detroit.

Mix of manufacturing, medical, service and white collar jobs.

Columbus was never a steel/manufacturing town like Cinci, cleveland, st louis, Indianapolis etc, so we never had an industrial boom/retraction that left a bunch of extra "working class" housing that can be picked up cheap.. 

Being on I-85 its home to lots of warehousing, distribution and light manufacturing businesses and the service economy there continues to grow - all demanding workforce housing, of which there's a chronic shortage.
