S8 is an "opt in" element where I am Upstate. 

I feel that respecting the human element of this crisis for those that do not need immediate liquidity far outweighs a timely rent payment for those that need to support their family with little or no current income. 

It would be environmentally insane not to build more housing near transportation hubs that could get the workers to these new jobs without adding tons of traffic to our streets.

Maybe a night out in the elements will make them improve their conduct !

At that price point, tenants are grateful to have a landlord who actually takes care of the place proactively, refreshes elements of the property before they're decrepit, etc. 

@Dan Hedges most liens are “blown up” by the tax foreclosure save a few (off the top of my head so don’t quote me - IRS, certain environmental liens).

OK, not me but a friend is buying a new build that is being built on a former Iron Foundry site.My environmental engineer friend said to ask for the Closure Report and get a copy of the Clean Closure Letter.Any other advice?

Consider elements together with way of life choices, location and marketplace analysis, property condition and protection desires, property control, and legal and regulatory concerns.
