Go take some RE agent class and start off with some real RE knowledge, you don't need to get a license, but you could, to make money while keeping your job.

I was drawn to here by people saying you can pick up, learn, interact, network, discuss and blog about the same RE investment knowledge for FREE here that you would pay $500-$10000 for!

Frankly, I think you're on the right path as you are trying to identify the opportunities from different angles.If you are comfortable with the idea of mailing, calling and door knocking, you can become one of the local experts.

I believe this group is run by knowledgeable real estate investors whose goal is to teach others about real estate investing not to sell you some class from some guru who happens to be in town.
