My girlfriend is studying to become and agent and I have been actively searching for deals and lining up financing for when I find a decent opportunity.  

Antonio has studied and run numbers on many deals in High Point and as a new investor has found that he can break into this market at relatively low cost (see his profile as he just bought a duplex for $30k thats going to be a BRRRR deal).We are always looking for networks and although I wouldn't classify myself as a mentor, I think having a network or like minded people to share ideas, partner and hold each other accountable is a great strategy. 

I came to US for my further studies.

I'm wondering if there is anything that I should be looking for as I read the over 400 pages of HOA data and reserve studies?

I read that this law came about after a study showed that zero people who signed rent-to-own contracts ended up actually owning the property (largely this was occurring in South TX). 

Hey Folx, I am a recent graduate of NYU where I studied Education Policy.

Louis, MO and have been living in Tampa since October.I have always been exposed to real estate growing up as my father does some buy/hold, but primarily flipping - I just wish I took the free experience more and applied it to my studies at school.

I am actually planning to spend the rest of this year through December studying and forming a better understanding of the industry and terms, etc.

I am studying finance and currently interning with a property management company in my college town.
