There are several online schools the offer licensing.

As soon as he told me he was leaving I signed up for an online Real Estate class that day and started taking the class every night when I got home.

I'm currently using that strategy and it's saving me TONs of interest... in fact I've recently refinanced my primary residence into a HELOC for the same reason.

It's not up to the appraiser, nor does it have anything to do with refinancing. 

Are majority of investors using spreadsheets, online software, or old school paper and pen?

Is it worth refinancing the Detroit property? 

As I understand (by reading articles online), Texas has strict laws in place that are not investor friendly around these.

After the refinancing I will deed the property back to the LLC.During this out-and-in process, do I need to inform the tenant?
