Or there's that guy yesterday who looked at my cart of 70% off culled materials & tells me he would NEVER use that defective crap on his place.We have friends & family with auto loans/leases & still heavily mortgaged who confess that they can't afford to retire & hope social security will cover their retirement living expenses.

Here’s the curveball, he doesn’t want his social attached to the house.

With social distancing/closed schools/closed offices - everything happening at home - all at once - now, your visits are probably not going to be met with great enthusiasm (unless you offer to tutor the kids while you're there). 

Without you knowing it you have moved to Venezuela where social justice for the community trumps your property rights. 

The people closest to me who are not REI are telling me now isn't the time due to he social distancing.

Demand is very high, supply artificially low (sellers keeping their homes off the market to maintain social distances) .. 

I feel that single family homes and small multis which provide tenants some private yard space, parking close to their front door, and other 'social distance' criteria will be in more demand. 

You also might want to contact the Salvation Army (or a church) and see if they will set up a free coffee table and offer some advice on where these people can get some social assistance.

One thing I like about social is that it allows you to use other content to start a conversation.
