I said no, and took it to my Credit Union......they took it without any hold at all.There is a common theory that these large banks use the floating money from holds to make a little vigorish, I wouldn't be surprised.....

I immediately had the piece appraised and was surprised at the mark up above retail ($2,435)(Great exercise akin to the conversations that take place here about valuations of RE based on BPO and etc. compared to prices absorbed by an end buyer).Appraisal came in at $2,845.

This is tactic is frowned upon by almost everyone in the real estate business so I am not surprised this is where you now stand.As for the attorney covering some of the buyer's CC, there are some costs which are traditionally split or covered by the seller.

Jessica, if you paid it off and it was just a few years ago, like three, you might be surprised as credit issues arising from unforseen medical issues is a quickly forgivable sin.
