Tell the tenant that his opinion carries zero weight, so he must submit proof from an ACCEPTABLE expert to support his alleged foundation issue.Until then, he will be held liable for the terms of his lease, to the fullest extent of the law.

Would you believe that there are guys making money on e-bay by buying electrical bus bars, cutting them with a band saw, weighing them, using scribers to write the weight on them, covering them with a coat of varnish and selling them to "investors" as investor grade bars of copper as an inflation hedge?

Maintenance in this area has been higher than expected but that is because the homes are all built in the 1920's and older homes cost more to upkeep.

If it were me, I would just use the land as much as possible for my personal use and not spend a penny on upkeep or building on the land.
