You also have to take into consideration the area - make sure the houses are in the same neighborhood and be zoned to the same schools.

Its zoned b2 commercial (which I think means residential commercial, but do not fully know) and will require a full remodel of possible plumbing, electrical, a few walls moved.

Stayed in Zoning department for almost a month then went to Building Dpt.- Approved (finally) and sent to the Building Department.

It's a legal 4 units, I re-zoned and I built a the new unit in the place of the old commercial space.The problem with the refinance seems to be the same from different sources, I'm in the "no man's land" zone with the 4 unit.

The property is also zone for commercial but sold as a tri residential.
