If I need to replace the countertop in the kitchen also I am not going to be able to match what's there, I am thinking of just doing granite throughout the house for $2,500 kitchen and 2 baths.

If there is a comp that matches your property in bed/bath, square footage, home style, etc same street or very close by hopefully same subdivision that is a good comp.

The agreement should also act as an acknowledgement that they have been paid in full.A couple of ideas to consider: bring the contractor in as a partner or offer to pay a bonus for finishing early, on budget and for doing a good job.If you have any further questions, don't hesitate to ask.

Hi Maurice,You could always find a room mate situation in a place near grocery and some fast foods.Just pick someone who matches you (introvert, extrovert, likes sports, or reads online most of the time).That way you will be less likely to get in each others way.Ask friends first--because the are a known item, vs the unknown.Good Luck!

Nothing has happened to us, but lots of horror stories.On this deal, I never was told who the escrow officer was, and then and when I got a call from the escrow officer, the phone number didn't match the number on the website or the number on the person's signature.
