@Josiah ReutterJust like everyone has said previously, your VA loan is only good at first with owner occupied, but you can turn it into a rental after you have lived there for the required amount of years.For example, my husband and I were stationed at Luke AFB in the West Valley of Phoenix and we lived there for 2 years and then my husband got out of active duty and got a civilian job in Utah.

Riley expanding and the big expansion at K-State so there may be some opportunities a bit west of you to look into also.
