.- Some funds issue 1099s instead, which are cleaner and simpler for tax prep, but usually don’t offer the same kinds of losses or tax benefits.- Fees may or may not be deductible depending on whether they’re considered investment vs. management fees, and how the fund accounts for them.Hope that helps as you compare.
