I wouldn't want to limit my apps when Tenant screening. 

I believe you have to mark the app with conditional approval to move forward with the criminal check.

@Deena Kleinberg I’m 37 & just downloaded the BiggerPockets app, I just started listening to podcasts for a few months now.

Agreed Russ  law does not say accept FIRST applicant it says first Qualified .. you have Qualification standards I know for me for my few rentals I don't want to sift through 100s of apps  so I take the FIRST qualified app.. and sometimes I am busy and I just take the first reasonable app LOL.  

Furthermore, what strategies have proven most successful to you and what resources do you use to help in the analysis (websites, apps, other forms of data platforms)?

If you don’t have a certain amount of time I wouldn’t be too quick to deny for incomplete app as he may be telling the truth and complete one that would pass your standards on paper but just be a person you want to avoid.  

I'm also thinking it'd be best to keep my personal cell separate from the one that people are going to be calling.Lastly, I had the idea to start a spreadsheet to track where I've sent the letters, how I found the deal, if I got a response etc.
