How can you grow your masonry company and you become hands off with daily production? 

We bought a duplex in a nice and growing downtown area that I'm very familiar with.  

These forums are great but you also need people in a more personal setting and that keep you accountable and growing.

@Chelsea Ziss As mentioned, you need a cpa”s advice going forward.But...1) do not put the rentals in the S Corp.2) it Could be beneficial to do your flips, depending on how much you make per year with flips, in the S Corp3) your flip profits are not capital gains, they are ordinary income and just like your commission 1099 income, subject to 15.3% ss/med self employment tax. 

While I continue to grow my company, I needed to find a property to purchase to continue growing the snowball .

The idea that I would like to launch here is to ask the local investor and out state that have rental here, how are you growing your local portfolio and the most important how do you get your rehabs done?

They just want a safe place to park their $ and have faith it will grow safely via appreciation in the US housing market and generate cash flow.

I'm brand new to this whole REI thing with a grand total of 0 investment properties...but looking to grow!

I have an opportunity to purchase 10 high dry acres for $500,000.00 near my current home which is considered a more affluent and growing area.
