We’ve noticed that renters have no issue paying the application fee prior to seeing a unit but don’t want to have to also pay for the background/credit check prior to even seeing the unit?

The house is now vacant and in need of renovation (bathroom and kitchen had dry rot issues, two bedrooms had partial wall removal due to mold on the plaster).

I need advice I currently work in the oil field and money isn’t really a big issue I’m just trying to start off and need advice any help ???

I tried to call the condo and no one picks up and I emailed the condo board and they told they could not help me with the issue.

The issue is, if I'm conservative with my numbers (which I like to be since I'm just starting out in this market), I get very very low cashflow. 

I know some of the biggest issues can lead to the biggest profits but there are something I just don't feel comfortable with.- I recently passed on a house that has a methlab in it that had high levels of some hazardous chemicals that seeped down to the studs.- I have stayed away from homes that have fire damagePlease let me know what issues you see the most profit to be gained from and the ones that you just don't want to handle.

Has anyone in this area had issues with their HOA allowing rentals?

You have a good inspector.The Al wiring needs to be replaced & I've seen a lot of it in Florida when we were buying down there & the arcing is a fire safety issue, (wish I still had the old pics I took).The 2 prong ungrounded outlets will all need to be replaced & rewired back to the respective panel(s) for each unit.
