Often, the only party benefitting from a partnership is the attorney raking in the legal fees to broker and create the agreements, contracts, etc.Because of this, even highly experienced RE investors often stay away from partnerships...RE investing is challenging enough, but doing it with a partner makes it much more challenging--and this is exponentially more true for an inexperienced RE investor!

I would alway use the values from the taxing authority itself over 3rd party sites like realtor.com and other similar sites or those listed by the seller.
