Hi Everyone,My husband owns a handyman business and in the last week we have gotten text messages (which are not uncommon for our customers), however the 3 texts I am referring to are scams and I just wanted to share with other contractors so that you are aware.Each of the 3 texts started out asking about a specific service our company offers such as one was hardwood floor install, and the third pressure washing, don't remember what the second one was without looking.The first one gave me a red flag when I asked where they found out about our company when they gave me a website our company is not listed on, but I played along to see where they were going with this.

If they have no problem with the eviction then they can play it their way, but if not there are steps and they should be outlined in the lease.Just my 2 cents and good luck in whatever you decide!

I don't play that game and believe that a buy and hold property must make sense the day you buy it. 

You cannot come back at 90 years old and try the whole thing again, so play life on your terms.I review where I want to be in ten and twenty years and then work backwards.

I've got about $40k in mutual funds (non IRA so I wouldn't have to pay penalties to withdrawal, maybe just capital gains) that I could play with.  

(no love for that title on BP) and have decided that trading time for money writing papers is not a desirable long-term career play for me.

The type of bankruptcy or the facts pertaining or circumstances around the bankruptcy may play a role as well.

I just setup a financial scenario and play it out over time and compare the end results.

Been in this business 15 years, and seen the good, the bad, and the ugly ... watched all those newbies shoot past me by playing aggressive in 2007, only to watch them fall and I blew right past them in 2009.
