Additionally, I have done a good job finding property taxes and market rent for these properties but not as much luck with water, electric, and garbage.

Personally I find that stressful; I want to make sure I have enough work for the people I employ because, obviously, people rely on their jobs to support themselves, so don't take that lightly. 

If they don't know about your lien, I don't know that it would make the cut. 

My husband will have the harder job of watching our two boys back home.  

I've heard the city has multiple people whose entire job consists of looking for occupancy violations.

When you create a trust, you appoint a trustee, who will have the job of managing the trust and its assets.

My personal opinion is (I want to build long term wealth in addition to my 40 hr a week job) that building a cash flow positive tenant based investment portfolio with covered risk is the best way to build long term wealth.Thanks for your input!
