@Will Barnard If you open a kickstarter and/or change.org campaigns, I would make do what I can to promote it in my circle, and with my friends at San Jose Biggerpockets meetup as well.

The video sounds enticing...

I do open houses a lot, not because I think it gets a buyer but I know sites like Redfin and Realtor.com will email the property out to promote the open house and put it in front of more potential buyers. 

They don’t do much marketing, it’s up to you to promote it, so you probably won’t have a lot of strangers ask to book.

They know the money is very enticing to a novice landlord.

When someone invests in a syndicator you are investing in an investment promoter, not in real estate.
