It's pretty clear in bold letters on loan docs that it is an owner occupant loan.Plus, closing attorneys usually mention it when you're signing the papers...especially if they know you're new.The bank likely wouldn't not fall for the story you were going to live in it if you closed in 16 days and had it it rented out within the month.Your best bet is to cross and your fingers and hope they don't ask in the next 12 months.

You almost always find a fixer upper cheaper with renovation costs than a turnkey house.People pay a premium for turnkey.Add a motivated seller to the mix on a fixer upper and you can really make some money.

Just as a heads up though in case you decide to pursue if it falls out of contract the unit mix is as follows: 3 BR 2-floor apartment in the front of the house, 1-br unit in the back lower floor, 1-br unit back upper floor.

And I feel Pawtucket always benefits from being closest to Boston and having a good mix of rental units and regular owner occupied properties (it varies by neighborhood of course).As far as "inside information", I'm not sure there's a lot of that to go around, especially these days where every week brings new economic developments and we're still seeing how things are going to shake out, how long this will last and what the effects will be (short and long term).
