By accepting rent during an attempted eviction you would be essentially allowing them to stay and nullifying the eviction process.IF your landlord was that stupid, then good for you...the landlord got what he/she deserved.....but they are probably not crying in their milk while sitting in their private jet

What are my options for a fix and flip other than private and hard money?

My mom lives in a nice one but you will never see one on the market as a whole because they are built more like townhomes that share a wall or two (think a square divided into quarters that remain square) and are usually sold as individual townhomes.

I'm looking at HML's and private funds. 

Looks like they may not be interested in that, as they stated they have sold few such properties already.

I actually purchased the property, made it into a rental, and recently sold it, all without them ever being here in Florida.  

Just focus on private money lenders?
