IMO it is very rewarding, to see all your hard work pay off after a full renovation..  

Just remember that risk and reward are inextricably linked and that the market won't always be blue-sky-sunny-day.  

For the last 5-7 years I have been working in operations management and logistic consulting for food manufacturing and distribution chains.

Fortunes are lost this way, which brings the conversation back to the fundamentals of risk and reward.
