@Shaun Anderson Being a non US citizen, you are not allow to work IN US.Even collecting rent, repair or maintain your own property.You can however, hire & manage your property manager to manage your properties.So do not get caught with doing work yourself, you may get into trouble with the US custom & Immigration.

:-( The questions asked: No, No, No and NoAnd, from what you have mentioned, if you are correct, is this is no deal.No lender will allow a true loan assumption, release the previous borrower and not modify the note and not charge fees of do so financing 100% of your purchase, well, there could be cases, like if you had 500K in the bank they might for a special customer, who doesn't really need the loan, but in reality, no. :)

I've passed on a few names, but I didn't get involved so I have no idea what happened if anything.I realize`a "real" RELO thing would or could be a big deal, hard to organize, but seems too that more referrals could be made.Good thing about referrals is the third party influence, so long as the referring party has a good relationship with the one referred.Anyone referred customers to others out of your area?

I guess what I was looking at were standard finishes; things that work for "modest" housing in developing urban neighborhoods that look nice but aren't custom or high-end at all.
