In my area, similar units in my complex were selling for far *more* after oil prices started to tank where prices had been pretty flat for the several years leading up to that.

If a buyer has a home inspection and wants certain items replaced (such as heater/ hot water tank) than as a the homeowner you can offer a home warranty which will save you money out of pocket versus replacing those appliances.

Normally, increasing your transactions is a good thing but when the potential compensation is so low compared to a normal sale, it is not something I would consider offering.I do know brokers that kept themselves afloat quite nicely when the market last tanked by providing BPO's to banks, lien holders and servicers.

So I don't.Right now, I have two cars in storage, I can't bring myself to spend the money on them at the moment for some reason, which is especially annoying as one of them I've owned for 24 years, even exported to the US, spent a vast (vast for a VW) amount of money on it ten years ago, and it's done barely 1500 miles since its rebuild.Yet I can spend money on a tool for the business in an instant.
