When I talk with potential renters and have a house I would not mind selling to them I will tell them that when they are ready we can talk about the sale but it is a straight rental until then.

I have my own attorney who I greatly prefer, but my attorney doesn't do the fancy investor transactions -- if you are looking to do a straight purchase (REO, short sale or retail) or are looking to do a straight resale to a retail buyer, I have another attorney I would recommend, but for investor transactions, John is probably the right guy.And yes, he shares an office with Fearnley & Price (they do all the HUD closings in Atlanta) on the east side of 285...so it's a bit of drive if you don't live on that side of the city.
