They often simply don't answer their phones, delivery was delayed twice, and when they finally delivered it was the wrong color dishwasher, which took another two weeks to sort out.

So for painting the inside one color walls, trim, ceiling it's another $1,275.I could go on but as you see I'm being careful to include as much as possible to come up with a cost going in and I know I'm not accounting for everything.What I've seen about homes like this in my area are they start high in price and the owner finally realizes it's not selling - I wonder why.

It seems like a lot bigger DIY job than Vinyl.That little place could really use some curb appeal.I took the pic above and floated some curb appeal things onto it that I'd think about if it were mine.A new door opening on the right, double the window size, and a more modern color scheme, a little wider siding, etc...Which is a lot more money than just residing in vinyl.I used GIMP to make this (quickly), and not an architectural program which is why it looks a little cartoonish.Good Luck!
