While having leverage is not bad it can assist in growth exponentially, reading posts like I just did of an investor having $100k in loans at 25% and wondering what to do with a new $50k LOC and thinking he should continue to invest it vs. paying down a 25% loan scares the hell out of me. 

The total loan amount would be $60k: $20k purchase price + $40k repairs.

Hello All,We have couple of properties in SE houston area that are in need of minor repairs.

The tax value on the house last year was $37,000. this year it’s down to $24,000. he went in and did some repair work. it’s what you call putting make up on a pig.The house is a 2 bedroom 1 bath.

If it is, they will ask for a cost estimator to show that the insurance would be sufficient to repair / rebuild the home.

thanks yes i do want to get a specialist in to give me a quote for repairs and the houses on the same street sold for around 130k to 160k but just 3 blocks away houses sold for up to 300k.

I should hire a contractor for more extensive repair/rebuild of balconies and stairs.3.
