Hello BP, I'm working on a mostly cosmetic renovation project here in New Orleans  I was wondering if there are any experience contractors or anyone here that could recommend contractors that they've used successfully in the past.

I love real estate but seems like is not for me, I was trying to put a brand new doublewide in it, I got approved for the loan but really don't have a clue about asking price for the property, I asked my realtor and she said 'well just add lot price plus house plus some cash for you' there is no comparables since all the mobile homes I see around are used and old, the price for the cheapest double wide will be close to 55k I was wondering how much should I ask for it , may be not worth maybe I can build a small house for that money??

I'm not really excited about leaving an electric heater running unattended, nor do I think that curious, uneducated minds would think it was necessary to run one in an unoccupied space, nor would they appreciate the extra heat in summer, or the extra expense added to their electric bill.I'm wondering if anyone has tried any of these, or if they have success doing something else to help cure a damp basement.Thanks in advance.

I don't care who the wholesaler is - if the deal has opportunity, the paper is clean, and the transaction is legal, then it might be a good deal for some of us - but not for all.  

Be careful of such situations as it is very easy to get into a situation where you have to evict right after putting down good money to purchase the unit.

Hi All, I picked up a rental property about a month ago and funds were to be distributed into my bank account August 31st / September 1st from my PM company however I have not received them yet.Just wanted to get opinions on this situation;  and if this has happened to you,, recommendations on how I should go about making sure its taken care of / dealt with?

I'm wondering if there are any California codes that require that?
