I am currently on disability and I do have mobility but not able to climb under a house to fix a leaky pipe (and come to think of it, this is the part of real estate I would happily let others do.

They also lost their house and purchased a little mobile home to live in.Part of the deal with the bankruptcy was that the  bulk of payments we were making to Bobbys folks had to go to the creditors for 5 years.About a month after those 5 years, Elroy and Jean went into assisted living.

While you may be paying as much as you would in property taxes, the real issue is that when you place a mobile home on someone else's land, you are not building any equity.

I was thinking to buy this mobile home ( 5000,- /needs 2000,- or 3000,-/ lot rent 352,-/trash 13,-/water 75,-, taxes 25, I think no insurance, because seller was hesitating talking about it )It has a tenant : The ordinary SSI payment in 2015, without any reductions for income or additions for a state supplement, is $733For me to fix it up I would have to raise the rent.

i installed a meter for each side in the crawl space and drill a hole in the ban board to install the remote sensor head so I can read it from outside.

I have a mobile home on land that has the axles removed, tied down, and towing gear removed but not sure if this is enough to sell to a Buyer for and FHA loan...Has anyone had to go through the process of certifying that their mobile home is on a permanent foundation prior to finding a suitable buyer?
