Safety stuff, sure, but buildings were built differently through the decades.It looks like I could be tied up for 30 days minimum to get the first inspection, and then fix whatever else, but if they tell me I have to gut the basement or something, that would be a nightmare.

You have to have some cut off date and terms.

Bad contractors seem to far outweigh the good ones so don't cut corners on vetting them no matter how highly someone else recommends.

SFRs- we take care of trees and shrubs, tenant takes care of mowing, edging, and flower/vegetable beds.Maintenance Issues: We take care of all maintenance & repair.

Instead of returning - handyman was able to cut a piece out of the doorway but it was still more work - exact same size/brand/model would have been easier

The home was initially listed for $5,000, but it's currently on the market for $3,000 after several price cuts.
