How much time will it all take to go through the small claims process and what is your time and stress worth?

I'll be in Jamaica for a wedding on 11/2, but definitely interested for future ones!

I think there is a deal to be made here, but it might not be worth the stress and time dealing with him. 

Yes I agree that this is great way to gain experience property managing and know it will be stressful, but hopefully rewarding as I develop vital skills in this business venture.

If you have those two things, you'll have a lot less upstream swimming to do and if you have good property management, you can build your confidence and not get overly stressed out with your first property.
