And the reason many have the time to hang out on BP is they are accomplished and in many ways its a way of giving back to an industry that has treated us so well... trying to keep new investors from getting scammed by less than ethical wholesalers  or FAUX lenders or bad PM's all sorts of things are talked about on this site all with the goal of helping those that are newer in the RE game..

I once heard Jay call himself the "anti-guru, guru"    and I want my company to be the  "anti-turnkey, turnkey company"   LOL...I did a little research the other day and I noticed that some of the turnkey properties being sold in Indianapolis for $50k-$100k were purchased for less than $5k at auction. 

Anything and everything will be greatly appreciated by every single one of you.This place seems like a great place to learn from and to turn to a great industry.I'm really considering getting into real estate but I'm not sure where to start.I see a few online real estate courses but not sure if they're a scam or not.I'm currently still in college, but working part time at a bank isn't cutting it for me.

It just sounds like scams could start developing with this device as you'll probably get people to abuse it.That's JMO.

Anyone recommending you should take out a second mortgage to cover the cost of their guru program is giving you VERY bad advice.I don't know the man or his supposed magical program but, this smells like a scam to me.

Maybe do a $1000 deposit for pets.And the ESA scam is getting easier for a landlord to fight....

I am totally not anti real estate agent but I was wanting to make this a learning process for myself since it fell into my lap.

I always thought those kind of ads were scam ads - meant to get people to call about the property but be told that "its not available anymore but here let me show you what I have"

Finally just go and hunt for the good deals.Now you can use turnkey but becareful of scams.
