All in I have 84k invested in the 290k property, or 29% of the purchase price.

However, the issue here is I have no idea who is occupying my property and the people who moved in is not vetted which will create even more issues down the road. 

Knowing that the home was going to have "owners" in it, I knew there would be a fair amount of sweat equity that could be put in.

I'm interested in getting into real estate, but I would like to move to a more affordable place, maybe somewhere warmer, what's your suggestions for more affordable but good real estate markets to invest in?

Hello everybody,Im looking for good location i want  invest in. 

The market I am in is over valued do to the low interest rates.

I see multifamily as a more stable long-term investment, but I think having short-term rentals sprinkled in is a good way to diversify types of Assets and types of revenue streams.

I like my market here because the cost to get in is very low compared to much of the united states and starting local just seems a little less daunting.
