What was the event or action you took that no longer made you feel like an imposter but a real investor?

During the event, an investor shared a troubling story.

I know there are a lot of rules around disqualified persons and arm’s-length transactions, but I’d love to hear real-world examples.

Personally, I love tools like Hospitable for guest messaging, PriceLabs for pricing, and OwnerRez or Hostfully for full-stack STR operations.

I found many things that would scare the heck out of other investors and used that as leverage to get the assignment fee down from $20K to $5K!!!!

Ok so I’m Keshawn I’m 17 very interested in real estate, I’ve been studying I turn 18 at the end of the year and right now I’m trying to build up relationships with investors so by the time I turn 18 I’ll be set and ready to go I know how to bring good deals though studying I know how to talk to people I’m up here trying to find investors that are willing to collaborate to give me a starting chance in real estate.

I am an investor (Captain Save A Home LLC) based in Milwaukee but I invest and wholesale in SE WI (Waukesha, Milwaukee, Ozaukee, Racine & Kenosha).

Personally I have purchased well under market with educated sellers.

A prudent investor doesn't seek quick riches through shortcuts.

My partners are effectively passive investors.You should be thinking long term with your investors; we roll our profits over to the next flip.
