Each of us were making the assumption that the other one understood where & why the other person was coming from, but I don't think that actually was the case.All I was trying to find out from Bill, in the Rocky example was why he seemed to agree with the use of POA in order to cash the check.

On the downside, Bank of America called a year ago to ask if I understood my 25 year equity loan (which had payments of about $600 a month on $250K) - turned out it was 10 years draw and then no more draw and 15 years of only payments (now about $2050 a month).

They understood their net worth increase every month even if it doesn’t show up in their checking account.Back in the 1980s and 1990s, principal paydown was considered as cash flow.As syndication has gained more prominence, this concept has been forgotten or ignored.Happy to discuss further.Arn
