With a potential career in medical devices (interning at Stryker this summer) I want to be strategic about my real estate investing when I start working full-time in January.

I found Jess Stryker's web site on sprinkler design, an did it myself.

I would try to turn my $770,000 in equity here into a more efficient investment through a 1031/Stryker exchange rather than paying tax ($115,000 or thereabouts) and dropping the funds into the market.
