It is a financial basket case run by politicians who have no backbone to stand up to the unions and are utterly ignorant of economics from the jump.I highly recommend staying hyper-local for your investments, but if you insist on out of state investing, try Indiana.

I would strongly recommend working with a tax professional who has experience with STR structuring to make sure it’s set up correctly and documented in a way that will stand up in an audit.It looks like capital gains are not considered passive or non-passive but rather portfolio income?
