Generally, I usually spend $2-4k on a typical turnover, sometimes up to $5k and when I take on a new property it's usually on the upper end of that scale as I buy value-add type properties and usually do a bunch of work the first time units turn over under my ownership, in order to raise rent and get better tenants who will stay longer.
